Its time for a premiere. Round ten of the FIA World Rallycross Championship takes place in the Latvian capital of Riga. EKS is more than excited to enter the event as leader in both World RX championship standings. In the drivers standings Mattias Ekström is ten points ahead of Petter Solberg and EKS tops the teams standings with a 21 points gap on Team Peugeot Hansen. "After my last race of the season in DTM," said Ekstrom, "Im fully focused on World RX now. With three rounds to go, its crunch time, says Mattias Ekström. The track in Riga is completely new-built and I know it only from my video analysis, but the layout is really nice. The gravel is very concrete, similar to Lohéac, which suits our Audi S1 EKS RX quattro and me perfectly." Toomas Topi Heikkinen is also focused and looks forward to his first outing in Eastern Europe full of optimism. "The last two rounds in France and Barcelona were a bit disappointing for me, but I travel to Latvia loaded with positive feelings. Im sure that I can be back on the podium, why not this weekend? Mattias has won four times so far and we want to make it five in Riga."
