Craig Lomax (Knottingley) heads to Croft race circuit, Darlington, with only victory on his mind, fully focused to finish off a trouble year with a full out attack on the S1600 Category. The Milltek Sport backed driver has had more than his fair share of issues this season and is near enough out of the championship battle unless some of his nearest competitors have some major issues prior the race, it will be a tall order for Lomax to defend his 2015 crown.
“Its been a tough and somewhat disappointing year all year," said Lomax, "filled with reliability issues. We’ve kept going throughout the year to develop our C2 (Sabrina) to find not only find more speed and performance but to also iron out the issue we had. I want to go to croft and put on a show for the great sponsors we have, they really do keep me racing and without them I wouldn’t be out there on track. I can’t thank Milltek Sport, Baxi UK, Magnum Motorsport Impulse Developments, Power Maxed, D3 Office Group, Evolution Works, S&C Plumbing enough for the support they give me. I have to also thank the guys in the team, My Big Bro Shaun, Liam Fairhurst, Ben Trossell, Kev Noon, Lewis Rumsey, Lucy, Aaron, Evie and Mia, Yvette and my mum and dad. I'm hoping 2017 will be a year filled with more success and more trophies”.
The action at Croft will start at 9am, where the drivers will run to the usual BRX race format. XtremeRX have lots of goodies to give away before we take a break over the winter so pop by for one last time and say hello, get an autograph and grab some free goodies.
About Craig Lomax:
Craig Lomax is well known as one of the top British Rallycross drivers in active competition, forging his way up the ranks since his RX debut in2011. Craig started out racing in the BTRDA stock hatch championship in 2011 with a self built Citroen Saxo.
