Craig Lomax secures new sponsorship deal to reignite his championship campaign in 2017. Oil manufacturers, Liqui Moly, join the XtremeRX team to provide the Citroen C2 S1600 with their finest lubricants. Plagued by engine trouble in 2016, Lomax is hoping the new oil will help the team move on from last season’s woes. Liqui Moly won't be the only new names to feature on the Citroen, nicknamed Sabrina, as the team has been working hard to secure a great selection of new brands investing in XtremeRX.

"I'm really excited about the new relationship with Liqui Moly," said Lomax, "the support they have shown so far has been fantastic. I'm looking forward to working together throughout 2017 and beyond". Lomax will be attending the North West Stages rally in Blackpool where “Sabrina” will be sitting pretty in her new colours within the rally village, a car show which has become an integral part of the weekend event. The show will be open both Friday 24th and Saturday 25th of February.
Lomax is well known as one of the top British Rallycross drivers in active competition, forging his way up the ranks since his RX debut in 2011. Craig started out racing in the BTRDA stock hatch championship in 2011 with a self built Citroen Saxo. Craig, along with his team, went on to develop the Saxo into an MSA British stock hatch Championship winning car. On his way to success, Craig has not only developed a winning car but developed his own driving ability, he is now capable of racing against the best the RX world can offer. In 2014, he secured his first of two British Championship titles when he took overall victory in the Saxo. His second came the year after when he jumped up a category after buying a S1600 Citroen C2. The team have continued to develop the C2 over the last two seasons, championship victory in 2015 and 2016 has put him in a hard fought battle to defend his title.
