TitansRX Europe Receives FIA International Series Status, Ari Vatanen Joins as Ambassador

The 2019 European Rallycross Series created by MJP Promotions has been renamed from GRC Europe to TitansRX Europe in accordance with FIA requirements. It will focus on the PanteraRX6 Supercars developed by MJP Racing – Motorsport legend Ari Vatanen becomes series ambassador.

Step forward from GRC to focus on Titans Supercar Category

According to its motto “BE LOUD - BE WILD - BE REAL”, the TitansRX Europe Series will produce driver-focused, action-packed Rallycross sport covered live by Eurosport. “The past few months have been both challenging and exciting. Now all pieces have fallen into place and we have received FIA International Series status for TitansRX,", Max J. Pucher, CEO of MJP Promotions, said. The Austrian is delighted "about the high interest in our Titans category by world class race drivers and their sponsors. The performance of the PanteraRX6 Supercar has convinced drivers since its world premiere last October. It shows that controlling cost for exciting Rallycross Supercar racing works." TitansRX will excite the fans with 500bhp plus Rallycross cars in dynamic sprint races in stadium-like settings providing the best in racing entertainment! The originally planned FIA Supercar class will be replaced by local support races for a more exciting weekend experience for spectators.

Vatanen joins as TitansRX ambassador

Motorsport legend Ari Vatanen is a massive fan of Rallycross, “because it combines all the positive elements of rally, circuit and even drag racing: explosive starts with cars performing like our former Group B cars, competing in short races in stadium-like settings and thrilling the fans.” The former World Rally Champion and four-time Dakar winner thinks “the efforts of Max (Pucher) and his team to create a more driver-focused Rallycross series which is affordable are inspiring. The lower-cost Pantera design and the improvements to the race format are exactly what Rallycross needs now and it will bring new drivers and sponsors to the sport.” Hence, Vatanen chose to become a series ambassador. “Max and me quickly realised that we share the same vision of a type of motorsport that is truly a step forward for drivers, sponsors and spectators through shared emotional experiences."
