SUBARU WINTER EXPERIENCE RETURNS TO EAGLE RIVER, WIN FOR THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR

July 19, 2019 -- Subaru Winter Experience officials are pleased to announce the event’s return to Eagle River, Wisconsin for the third winter in a row in 2020. Subaru Winter Experience is a one-of-a-kind winter driving program that puts drivers of all skill levels behind the wheel of brand new Subarus in the winter wonderland of Wisconsin, teaching them the ins and outs of precision driving on snow and ice.

“I’m really excited for the third year of Subaru Winter Experience in Eagle River!” said Subaru Winter Experience founder and Subaru Motorsports USA professional rally and rallycross driver Patrik Sandell. “We have many new exciting developments for this year, including a new, three day advanced program for participants that have taken part in Subaru Winter Experience or DirtFish Rally School before. We will also work with a GPS camera system in each car to help the drivers develop their driving skills quicker and also compare their driving with mine.”

“Subaru of America is very happy to continue the collaboration with FlatOut Sweden and Subaru Winter Experience,” said Bill Stokes, Motorsport Manager, Subaru of America. “Subaru Winter Experience is a great way for us to showcase our cars in a unique winter environment. The 2020 participants will get the chance to test our latest lineup of Subaru WRX STI, Subaru WRX, and Subaru BRZ cars, all fitted with special studded ice driving tires from Sweden.”

Representatives for Subaru Winter Experience will be on site this Sunday at SubieFest Midwest at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois. Be sure to visit the Subaru of America expo area at SubieFest Midwest to learn more about Subaru Winter Experience and for answers to questions about this winter’s event.
